360 day Iron regimen?!?!?

Is it normal for a Cystinuric patient to be put on 360 days worth of poly-iron forte?

Iron is not related to cystinuria in any way I can think of unless you had some major surgery. Usually it would be for iron deficiency anemia.

Okay. Can cystinuria cause low iron anemia? Or a low protein diet? Thanx! :):confused:
