My nephrologist has given me MODURETIC.

Yes, my nephrologist has me taking Clorithalidone (sp?) in addition to Urocit-K.

Joking (i don't drink beer), but there is truth there as well. Beer has diuretic properties and has been known to actually help pass stones.

It's funny that you say that, Matt, because my chiropractor (a health nut) swears it would work for me! I told him I'd try it if I could just get down! It smells so bad I can't drink it! :)

Maybe that's why my stones form so slow!! I have to say that I'm an advocate....:D
