Representing The International Cystinuria Foundation I am in negotiating with hotels in New York City for room rates for July 25-27. There may also be a window previous to those dates, most likely July 20-24 that attendees can get the group rate. In essence, if someone from out of town wanted to vacation in New York City for 4 or 5 days, up to a week, it may be possible. I requested this in the contract, but have not received seen a contract to sign yet. Keep in mind the Symposium will be held in a time of heavy usage of hotel rooms from tourists. You will not be able to get a room in NYC for the price we are going to get. When I receive the contract I will post the price and particulars for this group to see. Again, for the price of a hotel room and/or transportation costs, if accommodations are not needed, you will get to listen and talk to experts about cystinuria. There is a question and answer period following each presentation, and then during lunch, the doctors and presenters are available to speak to, one on one.
