According to Dr. Byrns in the site...http://www.mercola.com/2000/apr/2/vegetarian_myths.htm
there are many vegetarian myths (?) such as vegetarians DONT live longer than meat eaters, vegetarians CANT get enough B12, omega 3, or Vitamin A; the meat industry ISNT as harmful to the environment and conducive to desertification as we say rather the problem is w/ monocultivated crops, and meat eating ISNT as conducive to cancer, heart and liver problems, osteoporosis, etc... as we say.

As a vegetarian these questions are of great personal interest to me and i want to hear how accurate or flawed Dr. Byrns arguments are. Thank you for your time.

Well, just to dispell his myth right off the bat I'm a vegetarian, have been for 10 years plus now. I don't have Cystinuria, but suspect I may. It wasn't until I became a vegetarian that I was healthy enough to put on weight. As long as I ate meat I was constantly sick. It is a statistic that 70% of all antibiotics made go to the meat industry.
